Keyboarding
Your child should be increasingly familiar with the placement of the letters and numbers on the keyboard. Because the letters are not presented in alphabetical order, this still can be very frustrating for your child and much practice is required for keyboarding mastery - something that will be developed over the course of several years and in fourth grade having the student use both hands on the keyboard and begin using correct hand placement on the keyboard continues to be emphasized. Fluency becomes more of a focus in fourth grade along with accuracy.
